Valorie received her undergraduate degree in anthropology from The George Washington University, and her masters and PhD in education from the University of Southern California. She has since worked for over 20 years as a corporate Human Resources executive in numerous high-tech companies. She is also a licensed pilot and flies for medical transport organizations.
Valorie and her daughter make their home in Palo Alto, California.
